For 90 years the Northern Lakes Cooperative has set the standard for progressive retailing and innovation in the Hayward area.
Through all the changes, our principles have remained the same: Excellent customer service, patron growth, and a commitment to community.
Recently we developed our #coopcares initiative! We would like everyone near & far to see the many relationships we have established over the years. We have more great #COOP CARES projects ahead for the Hayward community in the works, and cannot wait to unveil them soon!

As a commitment to our community, we too support local businesses, organizations, and individuals. For many years we have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the people and businesses of Hayward and surrounding communities. From the great gifts given at our own Annual Meetings for many years to giving great discounts to other local businesses to support their own giveaways; we continue to strive toward working together to make this community better everyday.

The Northern Lakes Cooperative is excited to announce that 2¢ per gallon sold from both sides of the Hurricane Pride Pump #7 & #8 will be donated to Hayward Community School District!

As a part of Cenex brand, we were honored in 2020 to have nominated The Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame and work with Emmett and his great staff to award them with a $5,000.00 HOMETOWN PRIDE check to make necessary updates toward the Big Muskie that landmarks Hayward. During the pandemic, we supported several area restaurants by ordering lunch for our staff of 60 over a six week period!

We were also a proud Sponsor of the American Birkebeiner, as Presenting Sponsor of the Prince Haakon 15K & as a part of the Virtual Expo we had the honor of giving away a Oculus Quest 2 – Advanced All-In-One Virtual Reality Headset to the winner, Gene McTavish!
